GASNDR is looking for 20 Artists to include in their Volume 1 NDR Card project. NDR cards will premier at Art Miami 2015 with booths at Scope, Red Dot and select galleries in Miami (Wynnwood) and South Beach. GASNDR will be selling to the public NDR (Natural Disaster Relief) Cards to raise money for victims of Natural Disasters.
NOTICE: The new submission deadline for Artists’ Submissions is September 1, 2015. The launching and sale of cards will begin with the Miami show in December, 2015.
Key points:

Chosen Artist compensation package:
GASNDR will pay you for an original, one of a kind work on canvas, wood or metal. You give GASNDR permission to make 115 Silkscreen Prints of the original (100 regular edition and 15 proofs), and the right to use the image for advertising during the event and to promote NDR future events.
In addition, each artist chosen gets 22,500 NDR cards printed with the front of the cards representing one of the 18 pieces of your artwork and the the artist’s Biography with show history will be printed on the back. These 22,500 NDR cards will be randomly mixed with the other 19 artists’ NDR cards. They are then put into packs of 10 cards (minimum of 1 gallery sponsor card per pack).
In total there will be 500,000 NDR cards printed or 50,000 packs or 500 cases made.
GASNDR will have booths at Red Dot, Scope and Miami Galleries so we encourage the artist to visit the booths and meet your fans.
As a participating artist you get paid to help victims of Natural Disaster Relief.
As a participating artist you get exposure to the public by being one of 20 artists chosen and showcased. When a collector collects all 18 pieces of your art they redeem them for either one of the 100 prints (white signature) or for the original work (gold signature).
NDR cards will be traded so that collectors assemble all of their favorite artists works.
At the end of Art Miami the public via social media will vote on the best piece. The winning artist will receive $5,000. If the Artist chooses to donate their winning to GASNDR then GASNDR will match their winnings and make a $10,000 donation to the Red Cross in the Artist’s and GASNDR’s name.
GASNDR will donate 50% of the profits to Natural Disaster Relief through the Red Cross.
If chosen as a GASNDR artist we will have a suite or space for you to come and lounge or relax during the Art Miami event.
This will be Volume I of the NDR cards and the cards will continue to be sold throughout the show and then continue to be sold through participating galleries until they are sold out.
Artist Timeline:
In order for Artist to participate they must commit and have their original submitted by 9/1/2015. Original has to be a one of a kind work on canvas, wood or metal with maximum dimensions of 42”x42”. The original has to translate into a silkscreen with dimensions of 18”x24”.
By Sept 1st artist has to have spoken to printer and discussed how their silkscreen will get done with a HARD deadline for providing the printer with color delineated files for their art. On that hard deadline artist receives 40% of their total fee.
Artist sets up schedule with printer to make sure they are happy with the silkscreens being produced.
By Oct 10th Artist must provide his/her biography and exhibited work for the printing on the back of their 22,500 NDR cards. Artist receives an additional 10% of their fee.
When the artists silkscreen edition is completed (sometime mid Nov. up until Art Miami) artist has to sign and number the silkscreen edition. Artist receives remaining 50%.
During Art Miami artist are encouraged to go to booths or locations where NDR card are being sold. Get all of your followers to vote for your work.
At the end of Art Miami 2015 votes will be tallied and winning artist will be announced.
GASNDR will provide artist location of lounge area where they can relax or refresh at Art Miami 2015.
